Paul Howard began his radio career in March 1947 in Flat River, Missouri with KFMO. He moved to Bellaire, OH where he was part of the original WTRF AM/FM staff. He moved to Wheeling, WV where married his wife Kathy and did sports for WTRF-TV. WTRF decided that he had a “face for radio” so he went back to radio and in 1956, Paul moved to Akron, OH and became a “Rock ‘N Roller” with WCUE. Paul moved to Charleston, WV in 1959 to work on WCAW. He was then transferred to Spartanburg, SC where he managed WKDY. In 1982, Paul moved back to Charleston, WV and began working for WV Radio Corp in July of 1993.
Paul has worked in the radio industry for over 50 years and is looking forward to reaching 60 years of service. Paul considers getting out of the army, being able to work at what he loves doing, and making friends out of his clients some of the highlights of his life.
