Mike Buxser has spent his entire adult life working in the radio broadcasting industry. His job responsibilities over a 30 year career have included: air personality, sports play-by-play, talk show host, Program Director, Sales Manager, General Manager and Chief Operating Officer. He joined West Virginia Radio Corporation in January of 2005 as Vice President/Market Manager of the 7 station Charleston cluster.

This is his second group of stations in Charleston. From 1986-1988 he managed WVAF and WCAW. Prior to joining West Virginia Radio Corporation, Buxser managed stations in Huntington, WV, Wilmington, DE, Charlotte, NC, Statesville, NC and Hilton Head, SC.

Mike and his wife Carol reside in Teays Valley and have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.
